Swim Call

Swim Call (2024)

Dimensions: 35″ x 60″ x 6″

Materials: Ash with Maple box

Swim Call is a commissioned sculpture presented as a gift for a retiring captain of the USS Oklahoma City (SSN 723) nuclear submarine.  Swim Call is related formally to the Control Box series and it is noteworthy that there is no hand. It is included in the Control Box series grouping because it is a similar box structure. The conceptual potential is different without a detached hand interacting with the controls.
